SuperGaming is the studio behind Indus Battle Royale, which was also the winner of Google Play’s 2024 ‘Best Made in India’ award. Known for mobile hits such as MaskGun and Silly Royale, the company has now raised fresh capital to scale globally.

“Our investment in SuperGaming pairs Bandai Namco’s global IP expertise with the team’s deep understanding of India’s gaming ecosystem,” said Natsuhiro Maruyama from the Bandi Namco 021 Fund.

SuperGaming plans to launch Indus Battle Royale internationally, starting with Latin America through a partnership with LOUD.GG. The company will also invest in talent, develop new IPs, and expand SuperPlatform, its in-house infrastructure that helps developers build and scale up multiplayer games.

SuperPlatform, built with Google Cloud, will now be offered globally, especially in emerging markets where developers lack access to backend game infrastructure. It includes AI-assisted tools for development, analytics, social features, and monetisation, and is tailored for low-end devices.

SuperGaming is also pushing into Web3. Its early experiments included Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition, launched on Polygon. Now, it is building a Layer-3 blockchain with B3 GameChain, with features such as asset continuity and digital ownership across titles like Silly Royale.

“We’re at an inflection point,” said Roby John, CEO. “‘Indus’ is just the beginning. Through SuperPlatform, we want to empower developers globally with the tech to bring their visions to life.”
