Warburg Pincus set to buy majority stake in Future Capital for $105M

Private equity major Warburg Pincus is all set to buy out Kishore Biyani-promoted Future Capital Holding Ltd (FCH) by offering Rs 162 per share, according to two sources privy to the transaction. This would value the firm at 15 per cent premium, compared to the last traded price of the public-listed firm, valuing the company at just over $200 million.
