Tata-Mistry spat leads to spurt in requests for directors and officers liability insurance

The tussle over management control within the Tata Group has led to a windfall for insurance companies as many small- and mid-sized companies are rushing to secure their board members and senior management teams by opting for directors and officers (D&O) liability insurance which they believe will protect them at the time of such developments.
