Deals Digest: PE/VC funding value doubles due to HDFC Credila deal

This week’s overall funding doubled in value terms, aided by the big-ticket private equity buyout of HDFC’s education lending arm HDFC Credila, which was acquired by buyout group BPEA EQT and homegrown PE firm ChrysCapital for $1.1 billion (Rs 9,060.5 crore).
