Mesa School of Business, a startup-focussed business school and edtech company, NuSynth Technologies, a chemical process innovation startup, ThinkMetal, an advanced materials and manufacturing technology company, and wudhomes, a Bengaluru-based home furnishing startup, have raised funding.
Mesa School of Business has raised Rs 110 crore ($11.5 million) through a combination of equity and venture debt.
The round comprised Rs 85 crore in Series A equity funding co-led by Dharana Capital and existing investor Elevation Capital, and Rs 25 crore in venture debt from InnoVen Capital and Alteria Capital.
The proceeds will be used to invest in AI-first curriculum for existing programmes, launch and expand new programmes, and build strategic partnerships with the startup ecosystem, the company said in a statement.
Founded in 2023 by Ankit Agarwal and Varun Limaye, Mesa is a startup-focussed business school and edtech company. Its backers also include Kunal Shah, Vidit Aatrey, Abhiraj Bhal, and Vijay Shekhar Sharma.
NuSynth Technologies, a chemical process innovation startup, has secured Rs 36.5 crore in a seed funding round co-led by Avaana Capital and Shastra VC.
The company operates an R&D-led collaborative platform for process innovation in complex chemistry. It redesigns chemical processes from first principles and uses an AI-enabled engine that learns from each R&D cycle to accelerate subsequent development.
The fresh capital will support the development of NuSynth’s R&D and technology capabilities, its initial portfolio of proprietary processes, scale-up capabilities and team.
ThinkMetal, an advanced materials and manufacturing technology company, has raised Rs 27 crore from IAN Alpha Fund.
The round also saw participation from 3i Partners and existing investors.
The capital will be used to support growth, including product development, expansion of its materials and R&D capabilities, team building and wider adoption of its technology among industrial customers.
Founded by Sabyasachi Ghosh and Arushi Sharma, the company is developing indigenous solutions to make high-value precision manufacturing faster, more predictable and scalable. It serves industrial manufacturers requiring qualified, high-value precision manufacturing for mission-critical applications across sectors such as aerospace, defence, space, automotive and electric mobility.
wudhomes, a Bengaluru-based home furnishing startup, has raised Rs 2.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, founded by Aviral Bhatnagar.
Seekho co-founders Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal and Yash Banwani also participated, along with other angel investors.
The company plans to use the funds to build a vertically integrated supply chain, develop in-house technology, strengthen its retail experience and establish the operational capabilities needed to connect different stages of the home furnishing journey.
The company’s approach to furnishing focuses on connecting inspiration, product discovery, curation, personalisation and fulfillment. It aims to help customers navigate the decisions involved in furnishing a space, rather than treating each purchase as a separate transaction.
It is developing an integrated model that brings together digital inspiration, personalised product curation, spatial visualisation, physical retail, home visits and a vertically integrated supply chain.
