While we already profile interesting upcoming startups on Techcircle.in, we also wanted to provide them (the startups) with a more direct channel to engage with our readers/viewers. For the same, beginning today, we are starting with a new video show called ‘TC Show Off’. As part of show, we will get on board one startup every week to ‘Show Off’ their product offerings, business models, the core USP, as well as what makes them tick.
Also, breaking industry norms, instead of featuring the startups ourselves, we have left it to the startups to engage with the viewers as they please- making it a show ‘of the startups, by the startups and for the startups’.
After all, a wise man once said it’s always better to hear it “straight from the horse’s mouth.”
In our first episode, we are show-offing ‘SeekSherpa’, a mobile marketplace for hyper local travel information and experiences. A VentureNursery incubatee startup, SeekSherpa aims at connecting travellers with locals and allows for the transfer of micro information points between like-minded ‘sherpas’. It will also curate and generate customised local experiences for travellers while empowering locals to meet travellers and earn pocket money through this medium.
Founded by Dhruv Raj Gupta and Sukhmani Singh, the company aims to ‘make travellers feel as comfortable as locals’.
At the end of the episode, we also have an ‘Expert Take’ section, wherein an industry veteran will provide his/her views on the startup, its market opportunities, and the way forward. In SeekSherpa’s case, it happens to be Mukul Singhal, principal, SAIF Partners.
Watch the video for more.
PS: If you think you are an interesting startup that deserves to be ‘show-offed’ on Techcircle.in, write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
