India I-banking revenues halve in H1 2012, debt issues now the biggest fee generator

Resonating the muted activity on the deal street, Indian equity issuances have hit a nine-year low in the second quarter ending June 2012 with debt capital market (DCM) dominating the investment banking fees this year in contrast to conventional heavyweights equity capital market (ECM) and M&A advisory income.
