Can Kia Motors make a mark in India?

South Korea’s second-largest carmaker Kia Motors Corp plans to invest $1.1 billion, or about 7,000 crore rupees, to build its first factory in India. While there is little doubt about the Indian auto market’s growth potential that is attracting foreign carmakers, it may not be an easy ride for Kia.
