Quick commerce platform HomeRun, AI-powered equity research platform Pinegap, robotics startup Solinas Integrity, battery storage company Replus Engitech, deeptech startup Consint.AI and beauty brand Typsy Beauty have secured fresh funding. 

HomeRun, a quick commerce platform for construction and interior materials, has raised $12 million (Rs 114.2 crore) in its extended Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital and Consumer Collective by Atrium.

The funding comes months after the startup raised $6.6 million and will be used to expand into new cities and invest in supply chain, technology and category expansion.

Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, Bengaluru-based HomeRun delivers construction and interior materials such as cement, plywood, paints, hardware and electricals within 60 minutes to contractors and homeowners. 

The startup said it has fulfilled more than 100,000 orders and grown eightfold over the past year.

Pinegap, an AI-powered equity research platform for institutional investors, has raised $8 million (around Rs 76 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Inventus, Silicon Valley Quad and DeVC

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand the company's go-to-market and sales teams, strengthen its engineering capabilities, and hire former equity research analysts as it scales up across hedge funds, mutual funds and registered investment advisers (RIAs) in the US.

Founded in 2024 by former JPMorgan analyst Ankit Varmani and IIT alumnus Deepak Sharma, Pinegap develops custom AI agents that automate recurring equity research workflows for institutional buy-side firms. 

The New York-headquartered startup, which has its technology team in Bengaluru, said it has deployed more than 1,000 AI agents across 100-plus institutional clients.

Solinas Integrity, a Chennai-based robotics and AI startup focussed on underground water and sanitation infrastructure, has raised $5.5 million (around Rs 52.3 crore) in a Series A funding round co-led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office. 

The round also saw participation from Luthra Group, along with follow-on investments from existing backers SVL-SME Fund (managed by SBI Ventures Ltd), Rainmatter Capital and 8X Ventures Fund I. 

The fresh capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen product and software development, support working capital, and grow the company's presence in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 2018 by Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee and incubated at IIT Madras, Solinas develops robotics and AI solutions for inspection, cleaning and management of underground water and wastewater infrastructure. 

Replus Engitech, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy, has secured Rs 43 crore (around $4.5 million) under the Government of India's Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme to develop next generation battery energy storage system (BESS) technologies. 

The funding, administered through the Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), will support research, indigenous technology development and the commercialisation of advanced energy storage solutions.

Based in Pune, Replus develops battery energy storage systems and lithium-ion battery solutions for stationary storage and electric mobility applications. The company operates a 1 GWh battery manufacturing facility, which is being expanded to 6 GWh.

Deeptech startup Consint.AI, which is focussed on AI-powered healthcare and insurance risk management, has raised Rs 22 crore (around $2.31 million) in a Series A funding round backed by Big Global Investment JSC, Equanimity Ventures Trust II, and Seafund Venture India Scheme I

The company plans to use the funds to support global expansion, advance AI research including the development of a foundational model for fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) detection, strengthen enterprise delivery capabilities, and expand its healthcare and insurance technology offerings.

Founded in 2020 by Ashish Chaturvedi and Preeti Chaturvedi, Noida-based Consint.AI develops AI platforms for fraud detection, risk management, claims processing, document intelligence and clinical AI. 

The company said its technology has assessed more than 100 million transactions and identified over Rs 1,000 crore worth of fraud. It plans to expand its presence across India, the Middle East, Africa, the US and Southeast Asia.

Typsy Beauty has raised Rs 20 crore (around $2.1 million) in a funding round led by Saama Capital, with participation from Sanjay Kapoor, founder of Genesis Luxury, Tanaaz Bhatia, SRF Limited Group, and the family offices of Havells and Eicher Motors. 

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its presence across quick commerce and offline retail, launch hybrid skincare and makeup products, and grow its fragrance business.

Founded in 2022 by Kairavi Bharat Ram and co-founded by Shashank Tibrewal, Gurugram-based Typsy Beauty develops makeup products using formulations created with international manufacturing partners. 

The brand currently offers 27 products across makeup and fragrances and sells through its website as well as platforms including Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Tira, Blinkit and Zepto. The company plans to introduce more than 10 new products in the coming months as it expands into new categories.
