Edserv Acquires Online Tutoring Firm

Edserv Softsystems Ltd, a Chennai-based firm which was listed earlier this year, has acquired online education portal 2tion.com. The website helps connecting students to tutors for lectures, doubt clearing and test preparation through audio and video. The deal will give EdServ access to 2tion's student base of more than 50,000. 

The firm was trading today at Rs 138.1 per share, up by nearly 5%. 2tion also has students from across the world like US, UK, Africa, among others.
