Can cybersecurity startups fight growing threats to digital security?

The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In), the country’s cybersecurity agency, has warned against WannaCry, a ransomware virus that has reportedly affected 100,000 organisations in 150 countries. This is the latest instance of cybersecurity breaches and data thefts that have been increasingly affecting individuals as well as companies and governments.

Recognising this, several cybersecurity startups have emerged in India, and they have been able to garner a lot of investor interest. But will all these startups be able to help companies thwart cyberattacks? VCCTV takes a look at these startups and speaks with Anirudh Damani of Artha India Ventures to get an expert opinion.
