With bourses on a tailspin, PMS managers’ AUM shrinks

The poor showing in the equities market has now come to haunt portfolio and wealth managers with assets under management (AUM) for which they provide advisory services to high networth individuals (HNIs) hitting Rs 69,249 crore ($12.2 billion) in April, the lowest level since market regulator SEBI started capturing the information two years ago. This comes even as the number of clients receiving advisory services shot up to a new high.
