The day-long conference will feature a discussion on the Indian Internet Version 2.0: Hype or Real?
This session will dig deep into online consumer behavior, customer delight as core to ecommerce models, the macro versus micro factors affecting e-commerce, viable and scalable models in Indian e-commerce space, the mobile phone an extension of online business, Infrastructure support, secure payment gateways and efficient logistics and the huge NRI market driving online sales.
There is an interesting Fireside Chat planned on Indian Internet Enterprises: Show me the money!
This is something most internet entrepreneurs and investors are beginning to ask. So, how and when do you make money in the internet business? When do you breakeven, when do you clock the first million and how? When do you attract investment and when do VCs get to see the face of dough? - Are internet enterprises all about fancy valuation with no real numbers to show for? Death rate of an internet enterprise: How to make it, grow and survive? These tricky questions will find some answers in the Chat where investors and entrepreneurs will debate on the various ways of making money via ecommerce.
Apart from these sessions, there are dedicated sessions on fast-growing ecommerce categories: Books & Music; Group buying & Fashion discount stores; Electronics & Gadgets; and Travel. Besides, there is a dedicated panel discussion on efficient logistics and payments gateway, the backbone on which the industry really rests on.
