Mid-cap information technology (IT) services company Zensar Technologies Ltd has appointed Sandeep Kishore as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD).
Kishore will join the company on January 12, 2015, and will replace Ganesh Natarajan, whose term comes to an end on April 30, 2016. He will be based out of San Jose, California.

An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Kishore has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. At present, he is working as corporate vice president and global head of life sciences & healthcare and the public services businesses at HCL Technologies Ltd.
Previously, he had also led the global manufacturing and engineering services businesses at HCL Technologies.
Pune-based Zensar is part of Harsh Goenka-led RPG Enterprises. It caters to clients in the manufacturing, retail and hi-tech verticals. It has capabilities in Oracle implementation and maintenance and is a strong player in e-commerce solutions. The company employs more than 8,000 people at 29 locations around the globe.
Zensar’s promoters own 48.15 per cent of the firm as of June 30, 2015.
Recently, private equity firm Apax Partners bought a 23 per cent stake in Zensar Technologies Ltd from private equity investor Electra Partners for £84 million (Rs 833 crore, or $128.6 million then).
