Ybrant Digital Acquires Australia’s Max Interactive

Continuing its inorganic expansion,Ybrant Digital has acquired Australian firm Max Interactive for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition marks the entry of the Hyderabad based digital marketing solutions company into the Asia-Pacific market.

Post this acquisition, Max Interactive will continue under the same name and become part of the Ybrant Digital Network. Dominic Elfer, Founder and and Director of Max Interactive, will take charge as Managing Director, Australia of the Ybrant Networks Division. Ybrant Digital clients include brands such as Cisco, Dell, Porsche, Renault, Ford, Sony, Nokia, British Airways, Air France, HSBC, Adidas, Pepsi, among others.

Ybrant Digital offers digital marketing solutions to businesses, agencies and online publishers while the newly acquired company Max Interactive offers banner-based web advertising, mobile and e-mail marketing.

Speaking about the development, Suresh Reddy, Chairman & CEO of Ybrant Digital said that the acquisition will help the company to leverage the untapped opportunity in the Australian market and explore further using the expertise of Max Interactive in the market.

For the last few months, Ybrant Digital has been very agressive in its expansion plan and in April this year, the company has acquired Argentina based ad network, Dream Ad. The acquisition has given Ybrant presence in three other countries that include Chile, Uruguay and Mexico where Dream Ad is operational.

Ybrant Digital has closed six acquisitions since its inception in 1999, when it was founded as USAGreetings.com. In 2007, it had acquired US based Ad network AdDynamix for $10 million and Israeli company Oridian for $13 million. A year before, Ybrant acquired Serbia-based VoloMP- an email marketing platform and US-based MediosOne. In 2009, Ybrant Digital acquired two companies - Dream Ad and Max Interactive. All of these operate as its subsidiaries.

Ybrant Digital has offices in 16 countries including North America, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Serbia, Israel, India and Australia, and representatives in Scandinavia, Poland, Italy and Greece.
