Navashya Consumer Products Pvt Ltd, which runs reusable diaper brand SuperBottoms, has raised $3 million (around Rs 23 crore) from Saama Capital, DSG Consumer Partners and Venture Catalysts.

SuperBottoms plans to use the fresh proceeds to onboard people at senior levels and expanding the platform’s consumer footprint.

"We have been doubling every year until now - thanks to a very strong product, solid customer support, and an immensely loyal customer community of 100,000 parents whom we are always grateful for.

Going ahead, we wish to further strengthen our leadership position with strategic hires at key levels, who can take the brand to newer regional markets and expand in offline channels as well,” said Pallavi Utagi, Founder and CEO, SuperBottoms.

Founded by Pallavi Utagi, SuperBottoms claims to offer reusable diapers that can be used 300 times.

In April, the company raised Rs 15 crore from DSG, Saama, Titan Capital and Venture Catalysts.

SuperBottoms competes with brands like Johnson diapers, MamyPoko pants, Pampers, Charlie Banana and Mylo.

The company has also appointed Saumya Agrawal as its head of e-commerce.  In her last role, Agrawal served as Flipkart’s senior brand manager for baby care and personal care segments. Before Flipkart, she worked with Titan as a manager for digital and ecommerce.

The company currently competes with FMCG giants like MamyPoko pants, Pampers, Johnson diapers, and cloth diaper brands like Charlie Banana and Mylo.
