In the 37th episode of TC Show Off, a weekly initiative that provides startups a platform to showcase their businesses, Neuron co-founder and CEO Veer Mishra dwells on how his company uses artificial intelligence tools to help clients with audience segmentation.

The Nagpur-based big data analytics startup has developed a product that leverages social networking and machine learning for companies of all sizes to understand how people interact with brands.

“Companies such as Flipkart or Amazon spend a lot of money on customers acquisition. Unlike the re-targeting strategy prevalent in the market, we would enable companies to pretarget clients on social networking sites such as Google, Facebook and segment their interest level,” said Mishra.

He claimed that Neuron's pre-targeting method and its machine learning server are a big breakthrough in the online marketing realm. “Lot of people are using machines to predict data but no has one entered in the commercial space like us,” Mishra said, adding that company offers two types of engagement model. The first one is subscription based and the other is a personal account management system.

Neuron, which was co-founded by Mishra and Aditya Kakde in January this year, has seven employees so far. It had raised seed money from TLabs, the startup incubator of Times Internet Ltd's (TIL). Neuron is now looking for investors to bring in additional funds.
