As per the recent half yearly report by VCCedge, the data and research platform of VCCircle, “Series A” round of investments are on the decline this year and barely contributed 38% to toal funding in the first half of the year, which is lowest in the past five years.  While this is affecting the startups in “high-growth-high-burn” mode, can it be argued that the current startup ecosystem lacks enough high quality startups eligible for Series A investments & beyond? Is the current play only around Angel Investments and bridge rounds? What do investors have to say about the current scenario?

All this and more was discussed at this engaging panel discussion held at the Delhi edition of TechCircle Startup event organised on August 24, 2016 at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon.

Panellists:

Pankaj Jain - Partner, 500 Startups

Manish Kheterpal - Managing Partner, WaterBridge Ventures

Ankit Sood - Chief Financial Officer, Kraftly

Geetansh Bamania - Founder, Rentomojo

Gaurav Sachdeva - Managing Partner, JSW Ventures (Moderator)
