Full-service law firm Luthra & Luthra Law Offices has promoted 11 lawyers as partners.

The new partners are Altaf Fathima, Kanika Chaudhary Nayar, Manshoor Nazki, Mumtaz S Bhalla, Neha Sinha, Priyanka Singh, Ravi Kumar Dubey, Rohan Shah, Shikhar Kacker, Shiv Sapra and Wasim Beg, it said in a statement.

It has promoted five lawyers—Anant Garg, Faisal Sherwani, Gunjan Mishra, Rajan Raj and Sumit Mangal—as designated partners; 14 as managing associates and 17 as senior associates.

The firm also expanded its executive committee with the elevation of partner Bikash Jhawar as member. Existing members are Rajiv K Luthra, Mohit Saraf, Sameen Vyas, Sameer Dudhoria, Sundeep Dudeja and Manan Lahoty.

With this, it has over 350 lawyers, including 72 partners.

“We are in the midst of a storm where disruption and change are unending,” said Rajiv Luthra, founder and managing partner of Luthra & Luthra Law Offices. “Let’s not wait for the storm to pass. The need of the hour is to learn how to dance in the rain,” he said.

The company has aggressively expanded in Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad in last one year. In August, the firm hired Akhil Anand as litigation as partner from rival Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. In April, it poached J Sagar Associates’ project finance partner Pallave Bedi.

“We add capacity as the economy grows and the needs of our clients expand. We do not add capacity first and then try to find ways to use it. That said, we see sustained economic growth in India and we will hire more,” Rajiv Luthra previously told VCCircle. “We believe in nurturing homegrown talent and careful, organic growth,” he had said.
