Recruitment solutions startup HireXP has raised an undisclosed sum from Ambarish Gupta, chief executive of cloud telephony firm Knowlarity Communications Pvt. Ltd, a company statement said.

British entrepreneur Marina Zoltoverkh has also invested in the Gurugram-based HR venture, the statement added.

The company said it plans to use the capital to assemble a new product line aimed at campus hiring. Besides that, it wants to use the funds to inject artificial intelligence into its existing platform. Moreover, the funding is seen as boosting product sales in existing markets. The firm said the proceeds will also be used to enter new markets by the end of 2018.

HireXP was founded in 2017 by former global business head of Knowlarity, Vikas Kakkar. HireXP uses recruitment software to automate hiring workflow. The startup claims its software to be a new-age recruitment solution that lets companies hire right candidates. The software also opens a window for the candidates to speak their heart out on their interview experience, the firm says.

Kakkar said, "The platform is already a success story, with 50-plus reputed clients on board. All we need to focus on now is its market reach, extension and expansion.”

Commenting on his investment, Gupta said, "With a huge population out there waiting to be rightly recruited, it's a mammoth task for companies to search, find, sort and hire the right talent. The platform simply makes the entire process seamless and is way ahead of the outdated options available. The future is certainly bright and promising."

Knowlarity was founded in 2009 by Gupta and Pallav Pandey, graduates from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
