When Surjendu Kuila and Neeraj Jain started Delhi-based Solvy Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd, the company behind products review portal Reviews42.com in 2011, they had little idea that they would be expanding their services to an extent where they will have to rebrand the website to be in sync with the products and services being offered.

Armed with $5 million in funding from Tiger Global Management and existing investor Nirvana Venture Advisors, the company recently changed its name from Reviews42 to Zopper.com.

“Our brand name does not do justice to what all we offer. People only look for reviews and don’t appreciate the other services we have,” said Jain.

In an exclusive interview with Techcircle.in, the founders talk about the rebranding and going forward how the company plans to utilise the funds raised. The duo also talk about Zopper’s expansion plans and their latest offering – an upgraded mobile app that will keep alerting shopaholics on price discounts on an hourly basis.
