Skincare brands Asaya and Be Clinical, physical AI startup Water, and game-tech studio LightFury Games have secured investment to expand their product portfolio, technology, and market presence.

Bengaluru-based skincare brand Asaya has raised Rs 88 crore ($9.1 million) in a Series A round at a valuation of Rs 400 crore, three times its previous valuation. The round saw participation from RPSG Capital, OTP Ventures, Huddle Ventures, Hyperscale Ventures and 72 Ventures

The company said its revenue has grown 16 times and it is now operating at a Rs 100 crore annual recurring revenue run rate.

The fresh capital will be used to expand its product lines, distribution and geographic reach, with nearly a fifth of the funding earmarked for R&D. Asaya plans to expand through quick commerce and explore offline retail, while nearly doubling its team.

Water, a Hyderabad-based physical AI startup building adaptive intelligent surfaces, has raised $2.5 million (Rs 23.9 crore) in a funding round led by Endiya Partners, with participation from Pullela Gopichand, Rohit Chennamaneni, Nandan Reddy and other angel investors.

The company was founded by Teja Vinukollu and Haneesh Mourya Desu and is developing FLOW, an adaptive chair, and CAMA, an adaptive bed, powered by its VORTEX foundational model. The model is designed to sense, understand and respond to the human body in real time, with FLOW focussed on posture, movement and load, and CAMA on sleep, recovery and respiration.

The fresh capital will be used for further technical validation of VORTEX, including testing how its understanding transfers across products and users. Water has already built a near-production-ready adaptive sleep system showcased at CES and has filed a foundational patent around safety.

It has delivered 1.2 lakh orders since launch and has seen repeat purchases.
