Amarchand & Mangaldas ropes in Ajit Warrier as partner

Law firm Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co has roped in Ajit Warrier as partner in the litigation practice of its New Delhi office.

Prior to joining Amarchand & Mangaldas, Warrier was a litigation partner at Luthra & Luthra in the dispute resolution team. He has over two decades of experience in handling arbitration cases and litigation.

Warrier joined Luthra & Luthra in 2006 and has represented clients on litigations and arbitrations, including contractual, corporate and commercial disputes, infrastructure and engineering disputes, debts recovery laws, consumer litigation, family disputes, writ petitions and property related litigation.

After completing his graduation from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, in 1993, he joined the chamber of advocate NN Aggarwal as lawyer. Thereafter, Warrier started his own independent practice and continued it till he joined Luthra.

“We are pleased to have someone of Ajit's calibre assuming the partner’s role in the litigation practice of the New Delhi office of the firm. Ajit has a demonstrated track record of successfully achieving results and building client confidence for over 20 years,” said Pallavi Shroff, senior partner, Amarchand & Mangaldas.

Amarchand & Mangaldas is one of India's top law firms offering services in key areas of corporate and commercial law.

Recently, Nikhil Narayanan, who was senior associate at White & Case, joined Amarchand & Mangaldas’ Delhi office as corporate partner. Last May, the firm promoted 13 lawyers as partners across its Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore offices.
