Zodius Advisors Backs Financial Information Firm BluFin

Zodius Advisors, a holding company set up by Neeraj Bhargava to buy and build digital businesses, has made its second investment by incubating financial information and content company.

The deal with BluFin has been made as a co-investment with Anthemis Group, a specialist holding company for business models at the intersection of financial services, markets and technology. The company has been set up by Rashid Bilimoria, co-founder and former CEO of Boston Analytics.

BluFin is a market-defining solution provider, offering timely and relevant information to retail and institutional investors on the Indian economy and financial markets – so that they make better-informed investment decisions, said a statement.

BluFin is also set to launch India’s first comprehensive monthly Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) early next week. The BluFin CCI will be the monthly barometer by which the Indian consumers’ sentiment on their economic well-being will be measured. It will be the first-of-its-kind index for the Indian economy.

Zodius is a holding company which teams up with entrepreneurs and develops India-centric businesses in the area of digital media, digital commerce and digital services. Zodius co-invested with India Value Fund in Group FMG, a global marketing solutions company operating across the USA, the UK and Asia.
