Many healthcare companies in India have floated initial public offerings over the past couple of years. These include Syngene International, Dr Lal PathLabs, Thyrocare, Healthcare Global and Narayana Hrudayalaya. Their stock market success has reinforced the confidence in the sector. At the News Corp VCCircle Healthcare Investment Summit 2017, held in Mumbai last month, top executives at some of these companies along with investment firms discussed the reasons behind these IPOs and whether the trend will continue.
