All that happened in the PE/VC and M&A space last week

Marquee investors SAIF Partners, Kalaari Capital and Accel Partners were among the private equity and venture capital firms in action in the past week.

Kalaari Capital, SAIF Partners, Steadview Capital and Sequoia Capital invested in a $15.2 million round of funding for Bengaluru-based furniture portal Urban Ladder.

Accel Partners led a $5.8 million round in med-tech startup SigTuple Technologies while Vertex Ventures led a $7.5 million round in Bengaluru-based Internet of things startup Flutura Business Solutions.

In the real estate sector, The Xander Group struck a deal to buy Noida’s Express Trade Towers I for $44.8 million.

Among M&A deals, ReNew Power Ventures sold a 10% stake to Japan’s JERA Co. Inc for $200 million. Anand Rathi Wealth Management acquired the wealth management arm of Religare Enterprises Ltd in another high-profile deal.
