Food brand The Croffle Guys, premium grocery platform Solgram, fitness and sports technology company Obsess, and interactive entertainment development studio Shortgun Games have secured funding.
The Croffle Guys, a brand selling croissant-waffle fusion “croffles”, has raised Rs 14 crore ($1.4 million) in a funding round led by V3 Ventures, with participation from NAN Partners, the family office of Navin Agarwal.
The round valued the company at Rs 100 crore post-money.
The Mumbai-based brand is building a quick-service restaurant (QSR) business around the ‘croffle’ category. It has expanded from two outlets to eight in about a year and reached an annualised revenue run rate of Rs 24 crore, positioning itself among India's fastest-growing new-age QSR businesses.
The startup will use the funds to add over 40 outlets, primarily across Mumbai and Delhi, with a selective presence in Pune. It is targeting an annualised revenue run rate of Rs 100 crore over the next 10-12 months.
Solgram, a premium grocery platform, has raised over $1 million (Rs 9.4 crore) in a pre-seed funding round led by DSG Consumer Partners and Saama Capital.
Serial hospitality entrepreneur Kapil Chopra also participated in the round.
Founded by Shashank Shekhar Sharma and headquartered in Gurugram, Solgram has built an end-to-end temperature-controlled cold supply chain to preserve the freshness and quality of groceries from source to doorstep.
The company will use the capital to expand its cold-chain infrastructure, strengthen its technology stack, deepen sourcing relationships and scale operations across the National Capital Region (NCR) before entering other key markets.
Obsess, a fitness and sports technology company, has raised an undisclosed amount in angel funding from Pushpendra Singh, co-founder of Centricity; Amitt Goel; and Harshit Vij, co-founder of Freecultr.
The capital will be used to strengthen technology and product development, expand its network of gyms, trainers and sports venues, improve user acquisition, strengthen operations and build partnerships across the fitness and wellness industry, the company said in a release.
Based in Delhi-NCR, the startup is building an integrated ecosystem to connect fitness enthusiasts, gyms, trainers, sports venues, brands and wellness professionals.
Shortgun Games, an interactive entertainment development studio, has brought Indian cinema star Mahesh Babu on board as a strategic investor.
The Mumbai-based studio develops premium interactive experiences for PC and console platforms, bringing Indian storytelling to console-grade gaming experiences designed for global audiences.
