Boston-based TA Associates, one of the largest and most experienced middle market private equity firms, has announced the elevation of Naveen Wadhera as Principal along with the elevation of other five executives worldwide.
Wadhera will head Indian operations as Director of the Mumbai office of TA Associates Advisory Pvt. Ltd, focusing on investments in India and other emerging markets.
Wadhera, who has a BSc in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, advised on TA’s investments in Dr Lal PathLabs and in Micromax Informatics. He serves on the Board of Directors of both companies.
He played a significant role in the firm’s investments in Drive Assist, GlobeOp Financial Services, ION Trading and SmartStream Technologies while with TA Associates in Boston and London.
Christopher Parkin, part of TA’s London office, was promoted to Director from Principal. James R. Hart was promoted to Principal from Senior Vice President at TA’sMenlo Park office.
Birker B. Bahnse was promoted to Senior Vice President from Vice President at TA’s London office. Jason P. Werlin was promoted to Senior Vice President from Vice President at TA’s Menlo Park office.
