Delhi-based law firm S&R Associates has promoted Jabarati Chandra and Rachael Israel as partners. Chandra is based in Mumbai while Israel is based in Delhi.
Both Chandra and Israel graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and joined S&R Associates in 2006.
Chandra’s corporate practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment and general corporate matters, the company said in a statement.
On the other side, Israel’s corporate practice covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets and general corporate matters. In 2012, she was a visiting foreign lawyer at Slaughter and May in London.
Founded in 2005, S&R Associates has offices in New Delhi and Mumbai. The firm's practices include mergers and acquisitions; private equity; litigation and arbitration; capital markets; banking, finance and restructuring and competition law.
Recently, it promoted two of its lawyers Jeremy Lynn Chagas Pereira and Vivek Kumar as counsels.
