SBI Capital Markets, the investment banking subsidiary of State Bank of India, has got S Vishvanathan as new MD & CEO. Vishvanathan has replaced AP Verma and he will be responsible for company's business operations, strategy and marketing, including activities supported by the company's principal global offices, informed company in a statement.
Vishvanathan has an extensive experience in the domain of treasury and global markets, both in the domestic as well as international markets and has been associated with SBI’s North Eastern operations as chief general manager.
Vishvanathan joined SBI way back in 1976 as a probationary officer and has been instrumental in establishing SBI’s New York branch.
