S.Africa’s Treasury To Issue MTN-Bharti Statement

South Africa's Treasury will issue a statement on the proposed tie-up between mobile phone group MTN and India's Bharti Airtel on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.

"We will be issuing a statement later today on the MTN/Bharti deal," Treasury spokeswoman Thoraya Pandy said.
