Property Station Realty Pvt Ltd, a Gurgaon-based resale real estate consulting firm, has raised Rs 60 lakh (about $94,000) in angel funding from boutique financial services company Care2Earn Services Pvt Ltd to fuel its growth plans, it is learnt.
As part of the deal, Vishal Gupta, founder of Care2Earn, will be joining the company’s board.
The consulting firm will use the funds to expand its team, upgrade technology platforms and open two-three PropertE Stores over six-eight months.
Founded in 2011 by a first-generation entrepreneur Rohit Goyal, Property Station helps buyers and sellers execute resale deals for land purchase as well as under construction and ready to move in properties.
“We plan to open 10-15 technology driven PropertE Stores in Gurgaon. These PropertE Stores would meet all real estate needs of people in the radius of two-three kms. The company plans to open these stores in eight metro cities by 2020,” Goyal said.
The startup facilitates deals in the secondary market and helps its clients in facilitating home loans and documentation for change the ownership of the property.
Currently, it provides an online dashboard where users can search for resale price index for different properties, builders or projects. It can be used by consumers for getting an idea about the size, resale price, hot real estate projects and more before going ahead for a property purchase.
Before starting his own venture, Goyal worked with companies such as allcheckdeals.com and IndiaHomes for about a decade.
The company claims that it facilitated execution of close to 150 transactions in the secondary market with an average ticket size of Rs 1 crore during the financial year 2014-15.
