India's Manappuram General Finance & Leasing raised 10 billion rupees ($225 million) through a share sale to institutions, three sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters on Wednesday.

The company had set a floor price of 158.70 rupees per share for the share sale.

Enam Securities, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, UBS AG and CLSA were the arrangers of the transaction, said sources, who declined to be named as they were not authorised to speak to the media before a public annoncement.
