M&A activity sluggish, deals down by more than half over previous week

Cloudyn, an Israeli cloud-computing startup that got funding worth $4 million from Indian IT giant Infosys, stood out among startups that raised funding this week. In the M&A space, a $150 million acquisition of 21 drugs by Lupin’s Japanese arm, from local company Shionogi was the notable one among the six deals that were struck during the week.
