Comp U Learn May Buy Major Stake In Ace BPO Services

Comp U Learn Tech India, a Hyderabad-based computer software services firm, is looking at acquiring a substantial portion of the promoter share holding in Ace BPO Services Pvt Ltd, a healthcare focused ITES firm also located in the same city. 

Comp U Learn said, in a filing to the BSE, that its board of directors will meet on October 28 to decide on the proposal.

Ace BPO offers services in healthcare, call center, management and transcription services. 

Only last week, Comp U Learn board approved the acquisition of a 60% stake in Boden Services, a company in New Jersey, USA for $1.5 million and a 55% stake in Spry Resources India Pvt Ltd, a Hyderabad-based firm for Rs 4.65 crore. 

Net sales of the company was Rs 5.35 crore in 2008-08 fiscal, as compared to Rs 7.56 crore a year before. Net profit was Rs 1.32 crore against Rs 2.78 crore.
