Bharti Group has appointed SK Sayal as MD and CEO of its privately held commercial real estate company Bharti Realty Ltd, according to a press release.
Starting his career with Ansal Group, Sayal has over three decades of experience in the real estate space. Prior to joining Bharti, he was working as chief executive officer of Alpha G Corp since 2004.
Sayal—who obtained a BE degree in civil engineering from the Institution of Engineers, Calcutta—also worked with real estate companies like Mahindra Gesco and DLF Ltd.
In his role at Bharti, Sayal will be responsible for conceptualising and implementing a scalable business strategy besides providing leadership. He will also explore new business opportunities via joint development models to scale up the realty business.
Bharti Realty, a part of industrial conglomerate Bharti Enterprises, is engaged in the development of commercial, retail and residential real estate.
The firm is managing 2 million sq ft of commercial real estate space including Bharti Crescent in New Delhi and Airtel Centre in Gurgaon.
