Ambit Holdings Pvt. Ltd has appointed Anajit Singha as head of institutional equity Sales at Ambit Capital. Anajit joins Ambit from Silvia Quandt AG, a leading German private investment bank, where he was responsible for establishing & developing the equities business of the company in the UK.
In his new role, Anajit will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and fortifying the institutional equity sales business at Ambit Capital. He will report to Andrew Holland, CEO – Equities, Ambit Capital, the company said in a statement.

Anajit started his career as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance team at Reliance Capital.He left for London in 1996, where he worked in senior equity sales roles with European investment banks like ING Barings, Dresdner Kleinwort and Commerzbank Securities, where he was Head of European Mid Cap Sales & Trading.
