IDG Ventures Appoints Sudhir Sethi As India Head

IDG Ventures, which recently set up a $150-million venture fund for India, has appointed Sudhir Sethi as it Managing General Partner. Manik Arora is a General Partner, T C Meenakshisundaram is the CFO and Hemir Doshi is the Investment Advisor. The fund, based out of Bangalore, will also have advisors like Prof Jagdeesh Seth, KB Chandrasekhar (Exodus), and Arjun Malhotra (Techspan).

IDG Ventures will invest anywhere between $0.5 million to $10 million in tech, software, and digital media ventures across all life stages of a company. IDG globally manages $1-4 billion in assets out of offices in the US, China, Vietnam, and now India.
