Will Mylan-Matrix Deal Trigger Inbound M&As In Pharma Space?

Indian pharma space has generally seen outbound M&As. Indian pharma companies led by Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy's Lab, Wockhardt and Matrix Labs itself have gone overseas and acquired companies. But the Mylan-Matrix deal is the first significant inbound acquisition in the pharma space. An Economic Times article here says that the deal is likely to generate interest in inbound M&As in the pharmaceutical sector.

It could be. But there are not many sellers in the business right now. I know of one investment bank scouting for a pharma/biotech company in the $25-million revenue range, but haven't been able to find one yet.
