UTI Venture Funds Picks Up 10.7 Per Cent Stake In Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills For Rs 35 Crore

UTI Venture Funds has invested Rs 35 crore in Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills for a 10.7 per cent stake. Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills said its Board of Directors has approved the offer and issue of 14,28,300 equity shares on a preferential basis to UTI Venture Funds at a price of Rs 245 per share. The company plans to utilize the funds to part finance its expansion plans. The deal represents 10.7 per cent of the expanded (post issue) equity share capital. (Via India Infoline)
