Why companies should move beyond reward points to push customer loyalty

Savvy companies worldwide are looking beyond rewards programmes to retain customers. They are looking to solve customers’ problems and integrate themselves into customers’ lives. Amazon Prime and Starbucks are examples of successful loyalty programmes in international markets. What can Indian companies learn from such programmes and how can they adapt them to domestic markets? A panel of industry leaders discussed these issues at the News Corp VCCircle India Loyalty Conclave 2017, held in Mumbai last month.
