Why are investors shunning Reliance Communications’ stock?

Shares of Reliance Communications have tanked following disappointing results for the last fiscal year and concerns about the company’s piling debt. Intense competition in the telecom sector following the entry of Reliance Jio last year has weakened the financials of companies across the sector. Reliance Communications is banking on two crucial deals with Brookfield and Aircel to reduce its debt.
