What does Sequoia’s bet on Awfis mean for co-working space startups?

Co-working space startup Awfis on Wednesday said it has raised $20 million in a Series B round of funding from Sequoia Capital.

This is the biggest funding round by a co-working space provider in India, though several other such startups have secured capital in recent years.

VCCircle spoke to angel investor Ajeet Khurana on why this deal is important and what are the prospects for the segment.
