Vocational education & skilling huge opportunity in India: Omidyar’s Amy Klement

For Omidyar Network, the investment firm started by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar, 2016 has been its busiest year in India since it began investing in the country eight years ago. The firm struck 17 deals this year which included investments in a half-dozen new portfolio firms, according to VCCEdge, the data research platform of News Corp VCCircle. This compares with 10 each in the previous two years.
