VCCircle is back with its concept Runway, a spotlight zone for India’s fast-growing and emerging enterprises. After making its debut in technology capital Bangalore, Runway is now inviting interest from companies who are in the niche and growing cleantech segment.
Runway, which is modelled as an airport runway or fashion ramp, will feature eligible fledgling and mature startups and bring them a few steps closer to the next level, be it funding, new team, clients or game-changing business pointers from best-in-class experts.
The Cleantech Runway will be a part of VCCircle’s vertical conference on the cleantech space planned for the year-end. (Watch this space for updates on the upcoming conference initiative).
So if you a startup with tremendous potential in the spaces of clean energy, water and waste management, advanced material sciences or any business that leads to improvement of economic and environmental bottom line, then Cleantech Runway is the platform for you.
VCCircle has laid out a set of eligibility criteria to invite participation from startups with annual revenue of over Rs 25 lakh, angel/seed-funded and who have been around for two or more years. Please send in your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org. Shortlisted companies will get to make their pitch in a structured format before a panel of eminent investors in the cleantech space.
In the first edition of Runway, four technology startups got to present their plans before heads of VC firms who have invested in companies such as Telibrahma, Redbus, Flipkart, Kaatizone, BharatMatrimony, iYogi and UnitedLex.
Runway hopes to capture and narrate stories of innovations in India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Will a Runway debut company be the next multi-million dollar game-changer in cleantech? Rush your entries to email@example.com.
