VCCircle Training, the corporate education arm of India’s leading online financial media network VCCircle, is organising a two-day intensive workshop on business valuation by Aswath Damodaran on January 13-14 , 2015, at Hotel Raffles, Singapore.
Aswath Damodaran is a globally renowned finance guru and is the Kerschner Family Chair Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University. His research interests lie in valuation, portfolio management and applied corporate finance.
The training will help bring out differentiations in many models for valuing stocks and businesses. The differences across these models are often emphasised and the common elements are generally ignored.
Delegates at this two-day workshop will learn estimation issues and basics of intrinsic valuation. Besides, the event will cover the big picture perspective that has to be brought into the estimation of cash flows, growth rates and discount rates. Real companies will be used as lab experiments to bring home the estimation questions that have to be dealt with valuation.
Participants can apply the takeaways in businesses valuation of any firm in any market (small, large, private and public), using the discounted cash flow model. They will also gain insights on valuing a firm using multiples and comparable firms. Besides, the session will help them broaden their understanding of valuing ‘problem’ firms, such as financially troubled companies and startups and estimating value of restructuring a firm.
To avail of this unmissable opportunity, interested delegates may speak to Mr Fazal or Mr Raj on 91-120-417 1111 / 91-956 088 8566 / +91-956 088 8933 or write to firstname.lastname@example.org at the earliest and secure their seats.
