All that happened in the PE/VC and M&A space last week

In the deals space, Noida-based One97 Communications’ online marketplace Paytm E-commerce raised $200 million in a fresh funding round led by Alibaba Group and SAIF Partners.

In another deal, ANI Technologies, which runs online cab-hailing service Ola, is set to receive $330 million in fresh round of funding led by Japan’s Softbank Group.

In the private equity space, Suryoday Small Finance Bank received $23.92 million from a clutch of investors, including TVS Capital, International Finance Corporation and IDFC Bank, while Chennai-based integrated facilities management services firm Updater Services raised $14.96 million from Motilal Oswal Private Equity Advisors.

In the startup space, Bengaluru-based Delightful Gourmet, which runs online meat selling platform Licious, raised $10 million in its Series B round of funding from Sistema Asia Fund and others while recruitment solutions provider Belong.co received $10 million from Sequoia Capital India and Matrix Partners India.

In the M&A space, TVS Logistics acquired more than 60% stake in Uxbridge-based SPC International through its UK-based subsidiary TVS Rico Supply Chain Services.

In another deal, Cognizant Technology Solutions acquired Osaka-based IT firm Brilliant Service Co. Ltd. for an undisclosed amount.

In the M&A deals involving startups, Bengaluru-based Minions Ventures, which runs invoice discounting platform KredX, acquired US-based accounts receivable software startup Hummingbill Inc, while yet to be launched healthcare platform CureFit acquired premium online food delivery startup Kristys Kitchen.
