UK’s OCS Group appoints Srikanth Kumarswami as India MD

OCS Group, UK's largest facilities management company, has appointed Srikanth Kumarswami as managing director of the group's operations in India with effect from September 1, 2013, as per a company's filing.

In his new role at OCS, Kumarswami will oversee operations of various group firms, including Absotherm Facility Management Pvt Ltd (engineering), Radiant Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd (housekeeping), Cannon Hygiene India Pvt Ltd (hygiene and sanitation) and Central Investigation & Security Services Ltd (security services). 

Kumarswami's career has spanned over two decades with companies like Nestle (India), The Cleveland Clinic (the US) and the L’Aiglon Group (Switzerland).

He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, the US and has an undergraduate degree from BITS Pilani, India. 

"As the OCS Group further develops market and sector specialisation in India, Srikanth will leverage his expertise, experience and domain knowledge to our key focus areas such as hotels, malls, manufacturing, commercial and residential. Having been involved in brand development through collaborative management practices, Srikanth will partner with our Indian MDs to leverage our global and regional expertise to penetrate further on to new markets, including healthcare, aviation and education amongst others," said Heather Suksem, chief executive officer, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Middle East for OCS Group. 

UK-headquartered OCS Group provides cleaning, catering, security, waste disposal and grounds maintenance services. It is now offering total facilities management services and end-to-end solutions to Indian clients.

OCS Group, which generated revenues of Rs 300 crore in India in 2012-2013, aims to double revenues in four to five years. OCS Group clocked global revenues of £827 million last year.
