Tricom India To Acquire Assets Of US-based GTESS Corp

Business process outsourcing service provider Tricom India is acquiring the assets of US-based healthcare service provider GTESS Corporation for an undisclosed amount. The company has entered into a definitive agreement with the US-based firm, Tricom said in a  statement. 

This agreement was executed by its US subsidiary Tricom Infotech Solutions, Inc. Tricom said it was planning to invest up to $9 million in the healthcare subsidiary. Tricom India is a non-voice information technology- enabled services (ITeS) provider focused on data

management and data capturing services.

GTESS is a US-based healthcare service provider and has been engaged in the area of claims pre-adjudication services. The company adopts technologically advanced systems to process electronic data interchange transactions as well as paper and image based forms.

Presently, it has a facility in El Paso, Texas and partners in the Philippines, China, and India.

Chetan Kothari, Managing Director, Tricom India said the company's consolidated revenue for a full year of operation was estimated to be over Rs 150 crore or $32 million after this acquisition.

The closing condition of this agreement was progressing well and was hopeful of completing the entire formalities within the next few weeks, the statement added. Tricom said it recently acquired a healthcare project from a US-based health insurance firm for $10 million spanning over five years. An exclusive  facility in Mumbai was set up to execute this order.
