The VCCircle India Limited Partners Summit is all set to host prominent general partners as well as global and Indian Limited Partners along with industry leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the course of private equity investment in India and how it can contribute to India’s economic growth.
The summit, which will be held on March 9 and 10 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, will feature special addresses by two leading entrepreneurs — Ameera Shah, managing director and CEO at Metropolis Healthcare, and Dr Arvind Lal, chairman and managing director at Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd.
Shah has been instrumental in transforming Metropolis from a single pathology laboratory to a chain of 130 diagnostic labs and over 1000 collection centers in India and overseas including in the UAE, South Africa, Mauritius and Ghana. She has spoken at various national and international forums such as TEDx and those organised by Harvard Business School, the Confederation of Indian Industry and Indian Institute of Management–Ahmedabad.
Lal is a leading face of the healthcare sector and is credited with bringing laboratory services in India on a par with the Western world. Under his leadership, Dr Lal PathLabs has become one of the most reputed laboratory chains in Asia. It has 27 labs accredited from the government’s National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories with another 10 labs in the pipeline.
